College Library
The college library has a rich collection of very wide range of reading material. It is well planned and organized to meet the needs of the students. It has a valuable collection of over 20,825 books and about 5 dozen journals, a very wide variety of magazines and leading newspapers. It also provides to its users audio and video cassettes, CDs and video magazines. Photostat facility is also available in the library for the use of the staff and students. It is fully computerized.
Rules for College Library
- No student/member can enter the library without identity card
- Books shall not be issued without library tickets. A book shall be issued only for a period as mentioned in the due date slip.
- The students/members shall have to pay a fine of Rs. 1/- per book per day after the due date.
- Reference books, rare books and current journals shall not be issued.
- For causing any loss or damage to the library book(s). the students /members shall have to replace the same either with new one (s) or pay the loss in double as well as the fine.
- In case the identity card of the student/member is lost, she should immediately report to the Librarian and get a duplicate card on payment.
Book-Bank
For the help of the poor and the needy as well as meritorious students, there is a book bank facility in the library. Text books are issued to them for the whole session.
LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP for our former students and others:
- Membership fee cum security amount is Rs. 100/- non-refundable.
- Renewal of membership every year is a must.
