College Campus

The compact and beautifully constructed college building is spread over an area of about 4 acres. Lala Bishamber Dass Block comprises a well-stocked library, Home Science department with its well-equipped laboratories and all the post-graduate job oriented diploma courses like the Dress-Designing & Tailoring, Cosmetology dept. with a beauty herbal clinic cum Gym and a well furnished Conference Room. The Fine Arts Department and the full-fledged Computer Science dept. with three air-conditioned laboratories are housed on the first floor of Lala Bishamber Dass Block. In the Administrative block is the Director’s office, Principal’s office along with Account and administrative dept., a staff room and attached to it in L shape are the double storied commodious class rooms. At the very entrance of the college are the reception and visitors’ rooms. The working of the office and the library is computerized. Internet and e-mail facility is also available in the college. ‘Shubhankar Sabhagar’ the 1000 seated auditorium is the pride of the college. To enhance the presentation of lectures, the college possesses a good audio video set-up in the A/V room.
A fully equipped Language Laboratory and Science Block with its labs, a well furnished common room, inviting college canteen, a well stocked bookshop, distant yet within the campus is College House which are all the objects of pride of the college. In the block opposite the College House is housed the Department of Mass Communication with its sophisticated Multi-Purpose Audio-Video Studio and the hostel. An independent, airy and spacious wing comprising four rooms has been constructed on the Ist floor for the department of Music and Dance. The latest addition to the building is a five room Commerce Wing with an Accounting lab.
The college garden with its lush green lawns, kaleidoscopic variety of colours and flowers, ornamental plants and trees, is a rare treat for the eyes at the very entrance. Education and aesthetics blend to create an almost ‘Shantiniketan’ like atmosphere.
The college has a big playground, a Lawn Tennis Court, a Gym, a Judo-hall and many other facilities for sports.
