FEE CONCESSIONS AND SCHOLARSHIPS


 
 

The college is specially liberal and considerate to the poor in granting those concessions, scholarships and the facility of making payment of fees in easy installments.
Concessions in fees and scholarships are generously awarded to the deserving students. Half fee concession are admissible to 10%  of the total enrolment of the students. However, deserving students are provided more financial assistance from other sources too as S.A. Fund. The student must apply well in time for concession, and must seek guidance from the college office for various stipends and scholarships; concessions shall be decided in the month of July.
Maharishi Dayananda Charitable Trust, Manav Sehyog Society, Devi Talab Mandir Committee, Lions Club, F.C. Sondhi Charitable Trust, Gurcharan Singh Farwaha Memorial Society (Sant Nam Dev Kshatriya), Hari Om/ Aastha Charitable Trust, Mahila Upkar Sanstha., Rotary Club Jalandhar, Bapu Inder Singh Charitable, Nishkam Sewa Bharti Trust, Indu Nanda Scholarship and Hari Singh Education Trust are very generous in awarding scholarships to the poor and the brilliant students.
The college will give full fee concession to those students who score above 85% in the aggregate.
Concessions, stipends and scholarships of all categories are liable to be withdrawn if a student fails or remains absent in any subject in the house examination, display misbehavior or indiscipline at any occasion and is irregular in the classes.
Scholarships and stipends when available are given to financially deserving and poor students to meet their expenses. The Government, University, Scheduled and Backward Classes Scholarships are tenable in the college. Scholarships under the Government of India Post Matric Scholarship schemes are available to Scheduled Castes/ Tribes students who belong to the state i.e. permanently staying in the Punjab State and are pursuing their post Matriculation studies. The prescribed application forms and entitlement cards which such students are required to submit can be obtained free of cost from the college office as well as from the office of the District Welfare Officer concerned. The students should submit the application forms and entitlement cards to the college along with their admission applications for onwards transmission to the Director of Public Instruction (College) Punjab.
If a student enjoying concession/stipend migrates or leaves the college before taking university examination, she will be required to surrender the entire amount paid by the college with retrospective effects.
