Note: The candidates having compartment in+2 exams or at graduate level shall not be eligible to any Undergraduate or Postgraduate course as the case may be.

Rules and Procedures for Admission: A Guideline

Students shall be admitted to T.D.C. I, II and III and post graduate classes within the dates fixed by the Guru Nanak Dev University as advertised in “The Tribune” or other renowned newspapers. Late admission will be permitted as allowed by G.N.D.U.
The students seeking admission must apply on the prescribed from obtained from the college office along with the college prospectus. The students must attach with application form the following certificates:

Certificates showing the examination passed previous to the class to which admission is sought (e.g. Matriculation/Higher Secondary for admission to 10+1 and so on).
Character Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
Detailed marks, Discharge and Migration Certificates in case of a student from any other university in India.
Those candidates who have passed Matriculation Examination or +2 Examination from a board of education other than the Punjab School Education Board are required to produce at the time of admission Eligibility Certificate obtainable from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
Foreign students are admitted if they have a student’s visa and eligibility certificate.
If at a later date in certain cases, the eligibility of a student from another Board or University is not accepted by the Guru Nanak Dev University, the fees of such students will not be refunded.
It is the duty of the student concerned and not that of the college to obtain the eligibility certificate. The Guru Nanak Dev University can impose a fine of Rs. 1000/- if the eligibility certificate is not obtained within one month or as per the dates prescribed by the University for the submission of Migration Certificate.
A student belonging to Scheduled Caste/Backward class is required to attach Punjab Domicile & Certificate Declaration of the caste with their admission form. The above form can be obtained from the college office. To avail these benefits the annual income for SCs should be less then Rs. 1,00,000/- and for BCs less than Rs. 60,000/-
Students must bring three passport size photographs and one passport size photograph of the parents (of father and mother each) at the time of admission.
Students migrating from C.B.S.E. /I.C.S.E. and other Universities/Boards must contact the admission clerk immediately after admission for further briefing.
Students must give the necessary details about R.L. as per gazette.

Note :

Inter University migration cases shall have to supply the Migration Certificate and proof of their having passed the previous examination with English as one of their subjects within a fortnight from the date of admission, failing which their admission is liable to be cancelled.
Photostat copies of all the above mentioned certificates are required to be attached with the admission form for submission.
